Veripath is Pleased to Announce Matt Barr has Joined as Partner

Veripath is pleased to announce that Matt Barr has agreed to join the team.  In addition to his ongoing role as a Partner of Equicapita  – an SME buyout firm with over $300M in AUM – Matt will be providing invaluable operational insight as Veripath works to implement its strategy to grow to 300,000 acres in the next 36 months. Veripath has one of the most experienced farmland investment management teams in Canada and over 90,000 acres across its rapidly growing Canadian row-crop portfolios. Its principals have been deploying capital in the Canadian farmland space for 15 years with a consistent track record of generating returns, outperforming the Canadian farmland index by approximately 30% annually without the material use of leverage and even excluding cash rents.  

Matt is a practitioner, as well as a theorist, in transformations and culture development through Six Sigma and lean methodologies and has demonstrated these skills across many organizations and industries. Matt has consistently excelled using a fundamental approach towards leadership and culture creation which has allowed him to build strong and sustainable teams, brands, and businesses.  Matt has a Masters of Business from the Kettering University and a Bachelor of Operations from the University of Western Sydney.
